The origin of V Skinology is unlike many beauty salons in the market where they are established for many years. V Skinology started from a humble beginning around year 2014 when we first embarked on our beauty journey. Ever since, we have always been on the lookout for effective and premium products to complete our range. In 2017, when one of our founders was in Gothenburg, Sweden. Gothenburg is the second-largest city in Sweden and fifth largest in the Nordic countries. He was delighted to be introduced to Gilda Cosmetic and had first-hand knowledge and advice from the founder, Mdm. Gilda Liljeblad.
After careful consideration and thoughtful deliberation, he first underwent training in Sweden to understand and test the products before launching it in Malaysia on October 2018 in KLCC. The launch was also held in conjunction with Gilda Cosmetic’s 30th anniversary in beauty and skincare. Our founders were constantly asked where is Gilda Beauty Salon? With that in mind, our founders decided that with a range of excellent and premium product, a beauty salon would benefit users of Gilda Cosmetic.
With the advice from our Master Beautician and founder of Gilda Cosmetics, Mdm. Gilda Liljeblad; V Skinology a newly established beauty salon which opened our doors on 8th November 2019 was born. This was about a year after the launch in KLCC.
Our experienced beauticians were then trained by Gilda Skolan Authorized Skin Therapist and Education Consultant, Malin Lindholm who is certified by Comité International d’Esthétique et de Cosmétologie (CIDESCO) and Swedish National Organization for Skin Therapists (SHR). Combining the excellent premium skincare range of Gilda Cosmetic and our well-trained beauticians, V Skinology strives to bring you a Swedish experience in your therapies.
